Trip Notes: Camping on the Keys. A cool breeze is blowing over the area and I hope it keeps up all nite--can't stop sweating. Got up really early to watch and video the space shuttle launch but it was cancelled until July. Bummer, can't hang around here that long. Reached goal #2 today--have now ridden to all 4 corners of the USA. Stopped and took the mandatory pic of the marker at the tip of Key West. Of the miles I rode today, nearly 200 were surface streets with traffic lights! From just south of Miami all the way to Key West and part way back. Up to see the alligators tomorrow. |
