Trip Notes: For the first time in my motorcycle travels, the bike is in the shop for a problem. Oil pressure gauge started going nuts and I limped to the nearest dealer for assessment. Techs suspect oil pump in new cam chain tensioners installed before the trip. No info till techs peek in engine tomorrow. So I'm here at least two nights. Could have been worse--could have blown the engine in the middle of nowhere. Other than that, it was a great day. A beautiful ride through southern Kentucky along routes 92 and 90. Nice view of 90 bridge over the Cumberland River. Maybe I'll catch up on my sleep. A day of rest might be a good thing at this point. |
