Trip Notes:
Back on the road. Bike started running normal oil pressure after a sketchy morning.

Crossed some big rivers today: Cumberland, Tennessee, Ohio and Mississippi.

Good stopping spot today were Wickliffe mounds at the point where the Ohio and Mississippi rivers meet west of Paducah, KY. This is an Indian village nearly 1,000 years old. It's been excavated and rangers said a lot of history of local peoples from that time was learned.

Spent a lot of time today riding US-60--forests and farmland, rivers and railroads.

Looking forward to getting together with one of my Navy roommates from 40 years ago.
Pun for today:  there is a small town along Rte 60 named Winona. Does that make every biker passing through a Winona rider?
